Garden Pant by Wesley Scott
Each piece of clothing was dyed with a combination of walnut hulls, acacia tree bark, and madder root and then finished with an iron modifier. This recipe results in a faded brown color with slight grey hues that show through. Each piece of clothing is then patchworked with a mix of vintage fabrics, scraps left over from the Assemblage series, that were hand and machine stitched on.
Featuring a breathable linen/lyocell blend, our Garden Pant is suited for year-round gardening activities. Lyocell is a semi-synthetic form of rayon composed primarily of cellulose derived from wood. The buttons are made from the corozo nut (or tagua nut), which is the seed of a tropical palm known scientifically as the phytelephas macrocarpas found throughout Northern South America and parts of Panama
