Evil Bone Water
Evil Bone Water (Zheng Xie Gu Shui) is a traditional Chinese herbal liniment and the same topical we keep on the table in our Phoenix clinic as part of post-activity and body-care routines.
It is handcrafted in the United States by Master Herbalist Dr. Mark T. Brinson and his team with Chinese herbs, natural camphor and menthol, 190-proof potable grain alcohol, and carefully treated water. It has a strong, distinctly herbal aroma and can feel cooling, warming, and numbing; rubbing it in can increase the warming sensation.
Apply it directly, rub it in, or use it on cotton, gauze, or flannel as a compress for 2–90 minutes. Do not cover with plastic; let the area breathe. The maker recommends 2–4 applications daily. More frequent use may dry the skin.
Choose No Spray Top when you prefer to pour it onto your hands or a compress. Choose Spray Top +$1.00 for convenient coverage on shoulders, backs, and other hard-to-reach areas.
Please note: For external use only. Do not ingest, avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes, and keep the bottle out of reach of children. Patch-test a small area first if you are sensitive to strong topicals, stop use if irritation occurs, and ask a clinician when you are unsure.
